Farming is hard on the hands. Between the winter cold, the soil, and the constant washing, skin takes a beating. We created this simple recipe to lock in moisture and deliver localized CBD relief to stiff knuckles.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Oil OR Shea Butter (Base)
  • 2 tbsp Beeswax pellets (Hardener)
  • 1 tsp Vitamin E Oil (Preservative/Healer)
  • 15 drops Essential Oils (Lavender for calm, Peppermint for cooling)
  • 2-4 droppers Laura's Mercantile Full Spectrum CBD Oil

Instructions

  1. Double Boiler: Create a double boiler by placing a glass bowl over a pot of simmering water.
  2. Melt: Add the Coconut Oil/Shea Butter and Beeswax. Stir until completely melted.
  3. Cool Slightly: Remove from heat. Let it cool for 1-2 minutes (you don't want to burn off the CBD).
  4. Infuse: Stir in the Vitamin E, Essential Oils, and CBD Oil.
  5. Pour: Pour into small specialized tins or mason jars.
  6. Set: Let it sit at room temperature for 2-3 hours until solid.

How to Use

Scrape a small amount with the back of your thumbnail. Rub it into:

  • Dry cuticles
  • Cracked heels
  • Stiff knuckles
  • Elbows

Storage: Keep in a cool, dark place. It will melt if left in a hot car!
